What is it with some people and the naked body? I mean God created it. He doesn't see our bodies the way Satan has perverted it. Yes, i'm not a man and men in general are attracted to the female body more heavily than the woman to the male body. Well at least that's what i've been told by the average Joe telling me (make note to average Joe here). They told me that what we(women) wear, does in fact, effect the way they "think". I put quotations around think, because i don't want to deal with talking about the way of the carnal mind thinks vs the way of God thinks (flesh vs spirit).

It's completely understand able how when someone wears clothes a certain way it effects the way we think. For me, it's the cute, well fashion sensed, Asians that make me turn my head. Boy or girl, it doesn't matter. I won't lust after a girl, i'll just be like "man, how come they can pull off that look but my pastey white butt can't?" but with a guy i'll be like, "he's pretty cute."

Anyways lets talk about, The Naked Body

as an artist i see the naked body in a way that's not sexual. Meaning when i see someone else naked it's not in the bedroom and it's not for sex, if in fact sex itself is still being performed in the bed room! (man this world's so perverted! keep sex in the bedroom people! i don't like to see that stuff on TV! or any form of media!) Digress much here?

But yeah i don't really know what to say here because i know in scripture that our bodies are suppose to be covered and sex stay in the bedroom between husband and wife, because we do live in a perverted world and we do have carnal nature and lust if we don't guard our minds. It's a lot tougher for some more than others i suppose. I wouldn't know, my lusts aren't sexual, so i have no problem with that. Not saying i don't lust, i do, but if i were to put a percentage on my "lust level" i'd say, 5% sexual lust out of 100%(can't control what you dream). I guess you can say that i'm asking, would we have been able to publish the body naked with out sin if Adam and Eve didn't eat of the tree of good an evil?

Such is life, have a good remaining week.

I think there is a Bible Study Course on this topic, but I remember (perhaps from the "Missing Dimension in Sex" booklet) that when God made clothes for Adam and Eve the Hebrew word used is similar to our word for 'adorn or lavish' meaning that these were outer garments worn to adorn the body (such as a king's robe). I don't think that God ever intended for man to be naked his entire life, but the purpose of clothing was to be an adornment, not a cover (to cover us in our shame as Adam and Eve did when they sewed fig leaves together). Because they partook of the fruit of the Knowledge of Good and Evil their eyes were opened to how they could be taken advantage of if they did not cover themselves in public...hence why it is shameful to be naked. In a perfect world not ruled by Satan and hunam nature, I think that nudity would be acceptable...but I doubt that many would choose it. Like you said, when you see a well dressed Asian, you really enjoy it...seriously as much as people love fashion and accessorizing, I dont think anyone would choose to be nude in a perfect world!
But like you said, God commands us not to look on another's naked body...whether for art or out of lust. That's where I stand on the subject.

thanks kevin. it means a lot to me that you put your comment on this. So if i understand this correctly, i am not to see another person (other than my husband) naked? women and men should never be naked for anything other than bathing/changing and sex?
